UCD works with and ahead of development:

1. Work with business analyst to acquire “requirement” into a user story or use case.
2. Design for the iteration that development team codes next.
3. Provide update to entire team during daily meetings.

Working ahead

1. User research (user profile, current / future task analysis / gather customer data)
2. Screen Design, Mark Up Spec, UI Spec for the next Iteration that the developers will be developing (generally paper/functional prototypes – drawings, graphics, simple HTML, etc.)
3. Evaluate the UCD prototype with users and modify the prototype based on their feedback.
   

Working with

1. Business Analyst's to discuss requirements , use cases etc
2. Developers to discuss the work flow , technical limitations etc
3. Testing to get the test cases etc
